The new BYD Han family has added roof lidar as an optional feature. In addition, in terms of hybrid system, the new Han DM-i is equipped with BYD's latest DM 5.0 plug-in hybrid technology, which will further improve battery life.
The front face of the new Han DM-i continues to use a large-mouth front grille, while the new Han EV has a closed front face style, and the hybrid model retains the air inlet design. The new BYD Han family can be equipped with optional roof lidar, and a new rear camera is optional, which may be a perception camera for the intelligent driving system. Its intelligent driving performance will be further improved, and it may be equipped with the Horizon Journey 5 chip.
In terms of power, the new Han DM-i is equipped with BYD DM 5.0 plug-in hybrid technology. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 115 kilowatts, an increase of 13 kilowatts compared to the 2024 Han DM-i on sale. It continues to be equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries and is a pure electric model. The power parameters are consistent with the current model.
BYD's Han model will be upgraded in terms of smart driving and hybrid systems this time. It has not yet ushered in a real major upgrade. However, the new Han system model is likely to be released within the year.
