NETA Automobile expands global footprint with new deliveries and strategic developments

NETA Motors, a subsidiary of Hezhong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., is a leader in electric vehicles and has recently made significant progress in international expansion. The delivery ceremony of the first batch of NETA X vehicles was held in Uzbekistan, marking a key moment in the company's overseas strategy. The event highlights Neta's commitment to building a strong presence in Central Asia, a region the company sees as an important center for its future growth.

Designed with cutting-edge technology, NETAX has an impressive range of up to 480 kilometers on a single charge. In order to improve user experience, Uzbekistan has set up local charging stations where drivers can charge their vehicles by 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. This initiative not only promotes the adoption of electric vehicles in the region, but is also in line with Nezha’s overall goal of promoting sustainable transportation solutions.

Since launching its overseas strategy in 2021, Nita Motors has invested heavily in building smart ecological factories in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian regions. The company's Thailand factory, which started construction in March 2023, is its first overseas manufacturing plant. This strategic move is complemented by a cooperation agreement signed with Thai company BGAC to enhance local production capabilities. In June 2024, Neta's Indonesian factory began localized mass production, further consolidating the brand's foothold in the ASEAN market.

In addition to its business in Southeast Asia, NETA Auto has successfully entered the Latin American market, and its KD factory has officially started mass production in March 2024. The factory is expected to play a vital role in meeting the growing demand for electric vehicles in Latin America. The company’s commitment to innovation and quality is evident, having recently celebrated the production of its 400,000th production vehicle and the launch of NETA L model, deliveries of which have already begun.

Nezha's expansion efforts are not limited to Asia and Latin America. The company also made its first foray into Africa, opening its first flagship store in Nairobi, Kenya. The move signals Neta's ambition to enter emerging markets and meet the growing demand for electric vehicles on the African continent. The Nairobi store is expected to become a key point of contact for customers in East Africa, providing them with Neta's innovative electric vehicle products.

Going forward, Netta Motors will set its sights on the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Union as its next expansion frontier. The company aims to deepen its roots in Uzbekistan and leverage government support to fuel its growth in these regions.
