DEKRA lays foundation for new battery testing center in Germany to promote safety innovation in the automotive industry

DEKRA, the world's leading inspection, testing and certification organization, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new battery testing center in Klettwitz, Germany. As the world's largest independent non-listed inspection, testing and certification organization, DEKRA has invested tens of millions of euros in this new testing and certification center. The battery testing center is expected to provide comprehensive testing services starting in mid-2025, covering battery systems for electric vehicles and high-voltage energy storage systems for other applications.
