01丨Objective data
This project mainly conducts on-site testing of 12 items such as body workmanship, paint film level, interior air quality, vibration and noise, parking radar, and lighting/visual field of new cars, and uses objective data to comprehensively and intuitively display the performance of new cars on the market. In the body process testing process, a total of 10 key parts of the vehicle were selected, and 3 key points were selected for each key part for measurement to evaluate the uniformity of the gaps in each key part. Judging from the test results, most of the average gap values are controlled within a reasonable range. Only the average difference between the left and right gaps at the connection between the front fender and the front door is slightly larger, but it does not affect the test results too much. The overall performance is worthy of recognition.
In the paint film level test, it should be pointed out that because the trunk lid of the 2024 ZEEKR is made of non-metallic material, no valid data was measured. From the test results, it can be found that the average thickness of the entire vehicle's paint film is approximately 174.5 μm, and the data level has exceeded the standard value for high-end cars (120 μm-150 μm). Judging from the test data of various key parts, the average paint film thickness of the left and right front fenders is relatively low, while the value at the roof is relatively high. It can be seen that the overall paint film spray thickness is excellent, but the spray uniformity still has room for improvement.
During the in-car air quality test, the vehicle was placed in an internal ground parking lot with fewer vehicles. The measured formaldehyde content in the vehicle reached 0.04mg/m³, which complied with the regulations implemented on March 1, 2012, by the former Ministry of Environmental Protection and Relevant standards in the "Guidelines for Air Quality Evaluation in Passenger Cars" (National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 27630-2011) jointly issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.
In the static noise test, the evaluation car had excellent isolation from outside noise when stationary, and the measured noise value inside the car had reached the lowest value of 30dB, the test instrument. At the same time, because the car uses a pure electric power system, there will be no obvious noise after the vehicle is started.
In the air-conditioning noise test, first place the test instrument about 10cm away from the air outlet of the air conditioner, then increase the air volume of the air conditioner from small to large, and measure the noise values at the driver's position at different gears. After actual testing, the air-conditioning adjustment of the evaluation car is divided into 9 levels. When the highest gear is turned on, the measured noise value is 60.1dB, which is better than the average level of tested models of the same level.
In the static in-vehicle vibration test, the vibration value of the steering wheel was 0 under both static and load conditions. At the same time, the vibration values of the front and rear seats in the car are also consistent in the two states, both at 0.1mm/s, which has minimal impact on comfort and the overall performance is excellent.
In addition, we also tested the parking radar, lighting/visibility, control system, tires, sunroof, seats, and trunk. After testing, it was found that the segmented non-openable canopy of the evaluation car was larger in size, and the rear canopy was integrated with the rear windshield, bringing an excellent sense of transparency to rear passengers. However, since it is not equipped with a sunshade and cannot be opened, its practicality is average. In addition, the lens area of the interior rear view mirror is small, resulting in a large blind area in the rear view. Fortunately, the central control screen provides a streaming rear view mirror function, which can be moderately alleviated. However, after turning on this function, it will occupy a larger area. Screen space makes it very inconvenient to operate other functions at the same time.
The evaluation car was equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, matched with Michelin PS EV type tires, size 255/40 R20.
02丨Subjective feelings
This project is subjectively evaluated by multiple reviewers based on the actual static and dynamic performance of the new car. Among them, the static aspect includes four parts: exterior, interior, space and human-computer interaction; the dynamic aspect includes five parts: acceleration, braking, steering, driving experience and driving safety. Finally, a total score is given based on the subjective evaluation opinions of each reviewer, reflecting the actual performance of the new car in terms of commerciality from the perspective of subjective feelings.
In the evaluation of external feelings, ZEEKR has a relatively exaggerated design, which is in line with the consistent style of the ZEEKR brand. The evaluation car is equipped with STARGATE integrated smart light, which can display a variety of patterns and support custom drawing functions. At the same time, all the doors of the car are opened and closed electrically, and the operation needs to be completed through the circular buttons on the B-pillar and C-pillar. According to actual measurements, because it has an obstacle sensing function, it is necessary to give way to the door position in advance when opening the door so that the door can open smoothly and automatically. It is slightly different from the traditional mechanical door opening method and requires time to adapt.
In the internal evaluation, the design style of the evaluation car still continues the minimalist concept of the ZEEKR brand. The two-color splicing color scheme and the metal speaker cover are used as embellishments, creating a strong fashion atmosphere. However, the joints of the A-pillar are slightly loose and will deform when pressed hard, but this does not happen with the B-pillar and C-pillar.
In terms of space, the space performance in the front row is acceptable. Although the segmented non-openable canopy and rear windshield are integrated in the rear row, which greatly improves the sense of transparency, the headroom is slightly cramped. Fortunately, the legroom is relatively sufficient. The sitting posture can be adjusted appropriately to alleviate the lack of head space.
In terms of human-computer interaction, say "Hi, EVA" and the car and computer will respond quickly. The voice system supports hardware functions such as controlling car windows and air conditioning, and supports wake-up-free, visible-to-speak and continuous dialogue, making the actual experience more convenient.
The evaluation car this time is a four-wheel drive version, equipped with front/rear dual motors, with a total power of 475kW and a total torque of 646N·m. The power reserve is very sufficient, and it is both dynamic and quiet. At the same time, the car's driving mode supports a wealth of customization options, such as acceleration capability, energy recovery, steering mode, and vibration reduction mode. It provides multiple preset options to choose from, and under different settings, the driving experience will be better. There will be obvious differences, which can greatly satisfy the driving habits of different drivers.
The braking system is very follow-on, and it goes wherever you step on it. Pressing the brake pedal lightly can slightly suppress the vehicle speed. As the pedal opening is deepened, the braking force gradually increases and the release is very linear. In addition, the car also provides an auxiliary function when braking, which can effectively reduce the intrusion during braking.
The steering system has a heavy damping feel, but the steering force is still a bit heavy-handed even in comfort mode, which is not friendly to female drivers when moving the car at low speeds.
In terms of driving experience, the evaluation car is equipped with a CCD electromagnetic damping system. When adjusted to the comfort mode, the suspension can effectively filter uneven road surfaces and easily resolve minor bumps.
